covering 14 yards at 11:24 of the third for a 26-0
lead before the Bobcats got on the scoreboard at the

completed 21 of 30 passes against the 'Cats defense
for 249 yards and three touchdowns. Peru State
rushed for 105 yards led by senior Mike Mertens
(Hastings) with 66 yards on 21 carries. Meyer added
30 yards on eight carries. Falor and backup Jim
Dawson (Lincoln) completed nine of 33 passes for 111
yards. Falor suffered a pair of interceptions. Tight
end Ty Ratliff (Shenandoah, IA) led the receivers
with three catches for 54 yards.

MO) with 3 solo and 7 assisted tackles. Jack
Critchfield (Omaha), Tyler DeBuhr (Auburn), Shane
Ryan (Greeley) and Matt Carlson (Auburn) each added
six tackles.
"We need to
be able to have players make plays when the team
needs them to," said Bobcats head coach Terry Clark.
"Jamestown was a very good team and they were not
going to make many mistakes. They played pretty much
the game we expected them to."
The Bobcats
hit the road this week for a Thursday night contest
with NCAA DII Minnesota State -Mankato at Blakeslee
Stadium in Mankato. Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
The Bobcats then return to the Oak Bowl for three
straight weekends. "If we are going to take this
program to the next level we need to be able to
compete with teams that are from a higher level,"
said Clark.
