Bobcats 2008 Football Schedule Announced


(PERU, NE) Peru State College Director of Athletics Richard Speas announced that the Bobcats 2008 football schedule has now been completed. Head Coach Terry Clark and the 'Cats finished the 2007 season with a 6-5 and will again play an NAIA Independent schedule in 2008.
 

The Bobcats open the fall campaign at home against Hastings College, one of five games scheduled at the Oak Bowl. Hastings, a Great Plains Athletic Conference opponent, makes an appearance on the Bobcats schedule for the first time since 1999. Grandview College, a first time opponent for the 'Cats, will invade the Oak Bowl November 8. Homecoming weekend has been set for October 11th when NW Oklahoma State visits Peru. The remaining eight opponents were all on the Bobcats 2007 schedule. The complete 2008 schedule is as follows:
