Squad Announced at Peru State
(PERU, NE) Peru State College cheerleading coaches
Jari Wehmeier and Glenda Haley recently announced
the members of the Bobcats cheerleading squad for
the 2008-2009 academic year.
Squad members will include: Captain Sami Meyer
(Fairbury), Shyann Forney (Bellwood), Janet Vaher
(Denver, CO), Crystal Stainrod (Ramstein, Germany),
Jessica Clifton (Auburn), Kendra Kratz (Auburn), Kim
Sohm (Omaha), Rebecca Collins (Omaha), Jayna Habben
(Falls City), Rebecca Homes (Woodbine, IA), Katelyn
Bock (Lincoln) and Ashley Goodrich (Lincoln).
Alternates for the squad are Lisa White
(Plattsmouth), Mary Trecek (Bellevue) and Shyrian
Marshall (Omaha).
"I am really excited to continue working with these
girls as their coach," said Wehmeier. "We have a
strong returning group of squad members and some
really great freshmen coming in. I am excited to see
what these girls will do this coming year."
