Bobcats Gary Hall Named
MCAC Player of the Week
(Peru, NE)
Junior outfielder Gary Hall of Peru State College
has been named MCAC Baseball Player of the Week for
the week ending March 30. Hall (Golden, Colo.) hit
.706 (12-for-17) last week for the Bobcats from the
lead-off spot in the order. In all, he had five
multi-hit games on the week, including a 3-for-4
performance with a RBI and run scored in Peru
State's 8-5 win over Park University. The Bobcats
are 13-13-1 overall and 8-4 in conference play.
"Gary always plays hard and his uniform is always
dirty," said Bobcats head coach Jason Cronin. "He
has a great attitude and is the kind of player that
we are looking to build around. Gary is very
deserving of this award as he had a great week. His
bat really puts a lot of pressure on the defense."
OTHERS NOMINATED: Coty Holt (College of the Ozarks)
and Chris Luera (Park University).
